Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Dohrnii Academy app by Dohrnii Labs, and what happens to your data. You can delete your account yourself in the app, or ask us by email.
In the app
- Open the Dohrnii Academy app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm with your password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the app may ask you to sign in again.
Your account is deleted immediately.
Without the app
Send an email to info@dohrnii.io from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm it by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: username, email address, password, name, country and date of birth
- Your XP and streaks
- Your saved mistakes for practice
- The link to Sign in with Apple, if you used it
What may be kept
- Rankings of completed seasons
- Records of transactions and learning activity. Learning activity is deleted automatically after 365 days.
- Messages you sent us
- Data we need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims
Copies in our database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Data on your device
Settings, saved items and badges stored in the app stay on your device. They are removed when you sign out or delete the app.
